I’m being unfair to him
There’s so much more i could give but I’m being cautious you see
I need to know that he can swim and won’t sink in the flood of what this relationship is
It’s meant to strengthen him just like mine did for me

I knew where we stood from the very first day i meet him
He made it very clear to me even if not so nicely but our definitions did align quite nicely

His heart needs to be handled a little more gently than he would like to admit
He’s intensely strong and at the same time insanely fragile.
With the weight of purpose on his shoulders he squares them unafraid of the fight

When he pauses in his speech, he’s hurt
When his voice cracks as he speaks he’s broken
When he’s stressed out his voice drops and so does the shine in his smile
He’s almost addicted to God, he’s impressed by hardwork and just a little bit of sauce.
He’s real smile starts from his eyes, he’s instincts sharper than knives i think God has everything to do with that

He hasn’t fully understood the concept and relevance of me time
He pushes through insurmountable amounts of personal issues to deal with real issues affecting different people at the same time

Sometimes I honestly think oh wow! He’s crazy
Sometimes he gets bored, scared, he feels ignored, he gets hungry, silly, he chokes on his words
He makes wishes, he has goals, feelings and real dreams
He believes that everyone has the potential to be extraordinary and sometimes feels responsible to help them acheive it but sometimes he’s faced with the frustration of seeing greatness in People who do not know that it exists
He does much more than people see, gives more than he receives but he’s okay with it
One thing I respect about him is his tenacity, he never gives up , never stops only pauses for check_ ins with God

He’s been hurt by love, left with scars and thorns
He has a heart with so much love to give if you are not careful you will drown in it but he’s afraid to receive love , he keeps wondering if it’s pure or just another diluted version which can destroy
He finds it hard to trust, planing your escape before you run but it’s not his fault, the ones he trusts seem to take off and run when push comes to shove
I doubt he has had anyone catch him without wanting anything in return
He seeks a relationship with genuine people
So he puts his faith in God trusting him to bring them along
Hoping he would in time bump into his tribe
A people who understand his heart and protect it

Life hasn’t always been easy for him but he has found a way to make it work, thriving even in hostile conditions with next to no emotional support
There’s much more to him than the words on this page
He’s a testimony of God’s saving grace, a reflection of the power of God’s love and a product of faith.

Perfect blend of strength and meekness
You’re one of two people i love and respect that’s why I’ve been trying to protect you even from myself
